Board games on Kickstarter and Gamefound, minus the hype. For each one we've read the small print to see whether UK backers get Value Added Tax (VAT) and customs included in the pledge, pay VAT later, or could get a bill on the doorstep.
What the UK delivery labels mean
VAT and customs included: the price you pledge (plus shipping) is what you pay.
UK-friendly, but VAT charged later: no customs surprise on delivery, but VAT is added in the pledge manager (the shop-like checkout after the campaign).
Not UK-friendly: you may have to pay VAT, customs and a courier handling fee before the parcel is handed over.
Not checked yet: we haven't read the campaign's delivery terms yet.
We never show review scores for games nobody has received yet.
